How do I sign up?

You can create a MyWVUChart account by visiting the login page and selecting “Sign Up Now.” Patients can also be enrolled during a visit to any WVU Medicine clinic or hospital if their care team provides them with an activation code.

If you register online without an activation code, you’ll be asked to provide details such as your email address, date of birth, phone number, and mailing address to confirm your identity. You’ll also be asked to set up two-step verification (2FA) to help keep your health information secure.

If you have an activation code from your care provider, the process is even quicker — simply enter the code, create a username and password, and your account will be ready to use.
